Guizhou Vocational College of Equipment Manufacturing

Guizhou Vocational College of Equipment Manufacturing is a public full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the People's Government of Guizhou Province and filed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The college is located on the banks of the picturesque Hongfeng Lake in Qingzhen Vocational Education City, Guiyang, adjacent to the ancient town of Guizhou, a national 4A scenic spot, covering an area of more than 500 acres and a building area of 215,000 square meters. The school level of the college is full-time general higher vocational college education. It also carries out secondary vocational education, and organizes various adult undergraduate education. It also conducts vocational skills training and appraisal for the society, and has a national 75th vocational skill appraisal station.

The college consists of seven teaching units, including the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Electrical Automation, the Department of Automotive Engineering, the Department of Construction Engineering, the Department of Economics and Management, the Guizhou Mechanical Industry School (Secondary School), and the Ministry of Adult Education. There are numerical control technology and industrial robots. Fourteen majors including technology, machinery manufacturing and automation, logistics management, construction engineering technology, automobile manufacturing and assembly technology, elevator engineering technology, industrial design, and accounting, among which there are four national key construction majors, and two countries including CNC and automotive Level training base. At present, there are more than 8,500 students of various types.

The college has a team of dedicated teachers with more than 400 full-time and part-time teachers, including 63 professors, associate professors, and senior lecturers, 140 "dual-professional" teachers, and 97 teachers with master's degree, including National Machinery There are 2 deputy directors, 12 committee members, and 27 national and provincial skill contest referees. In the National Modern Manufacturing Skills Competition for Teachers and Students of Vocational Colleges, many students from the school won the first, second and third prizes.

It is the only national backbone vocational college in machinery industry awarded by the China Machinery Industry Development Center to Guizhou Province. It is the main organizer of the Guizhou Vocational College Equipment Manufacturing Project Skills Competition. The college adheres to the school motto of "Respect for Virtue and Ability, Diligence and Practice", adheres to the educational philosophy of "Culture infiltrate technology, quality supports skills", and pays attention to the cultivation of students' innovation and entrepreneurial ability and the spirit of craftsmanship in a great country.
