Qianxinan Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities is a public comprehensive full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government in April 2004. The college is located in Xingyi City, where the capital of the Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southwest of Guizhou Province. In January 2004, the college was formed by the merger of five technical secondary schools, the original agricultural school, hydropower school, agricultural mechanization school, finance and trade school, and health school in Qianxinan Prefecture. In October 2008, Qianxinan Ethnic Administration School was merged into the college. In June 2011, with the approval of the Provincial People's Government, the Prefectural People's Government established the Qianxinan Technician College in the college.
School scale: The college covers an area of 661.27 acres, the school building area is nearly 180,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching and research equipment is 56 million yuan.
