Guizhou Electric Power Vocational and Technical College

Guizhou electric power vocational technology college (Guizhou electric power vocational technology college), referred to as "Guizhou electric power vocational technology college". It is the first electric power vocational technical college established in the country. It is the only electric power vocational college under the China Southern Power Grid Corporation (including the five provinces of Guizhou, Guangdong, Yunnan, Guangxi, and Qiong). It is also the first of Guizhou Province. Higher vocational colleges approved by the Ministry of Education to implement Sino-foreign joint education have distinctive industry characteristics. In May 2012, with the approval of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Guizhou Electric Power Vocational and Technical College was approved as one of the first ten China-ASEAN Education and Training Centers.

Guizhou Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is optimized and established on the basis of the former Guizhou Electric Power School of National Key Technical Secondary School and the former Guiyang Electric Power Technical School of National Key Technical School. . There are also correspondence education stations of famous universities such as Chongqing University and the National Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute. It has become a modern education and training base integrating various academic education, skill training and appraisal. In 2002, it was named "Provincial Civilized Unit" by the Guizhou Provincial Government. In the same year, it was commended as "National Vocational Education Advanced Unit" by the Ministry of Education, Economic and Trade Commission and other five ministries and commissions. In the past two years, the college's enrollment rate and one-time employment rate have been among the best among similar colleges and universities in Guizhou Province.

Guizhou Electric Power Vocational and Technical College has two campuses in Guiyang urban area and suburban area, covering an area of 220,000 square meters and a building area of 100,000 square meters. The main campus is located on the bank of the beautiful national-level scenic spot ─ ─ Guiyang Hongfeng Lake.
