Guiyang College of Humanities, Science and Technology (formerly the College of Humanities, Science and Technology of Guizhou University for Nationalities) was established in May 2001. It is a full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It was approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2021 and transferred from the College of Humanities, Science and Technology of Guizhou University for Nationalities. It was an independent general undergraduate college and was renamed as Guiyang Institute of Humanities, Science and Technology. The school is positioned as an applied institution of higher learning. There are two campuses, Huaxi and University Town, with superior geographical location, beautiful campus environment and complete teaching and living facilities.
