The School of Science and Technology of Guizhou University is a comprehensive full-time undergraduate college organized by Guizhou University and Guizhou Jetstar Airline Flight Attendant Co., Ltd. under the new mechanism and new model. It was established with the approval of the Provincial People's Government in May 2001, and enrollment began in the same year. Relocated to Mengjiang Avenue, Heping Town, Huishui County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province in March 2018. The new campus covers an area of 313087.4 square meters.

At present, there are more than 9,950 full-time undergraduate students and 312 full-time and part-time teachers, all of whom have a bachelor degree or above, of which 105 have associate titles or above, and 24 are full professors. At the same time, there are 56 professional "dual-qualified" teachers with intermediate titles or above. Some teachers have obtained professional (industry) qualifications such as certified public accountants, lawyers’ qualification certificates, journalists’ certificates, and network engineers.
