Guangxi Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce is a national public full-time general higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and is affiliated to the Food and Material Reserve Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The college was founded in 1953. Since the establishment of the school, the fire has been passed down from generation to generation, and the song has been constantly changing. The predecessor of the college was Guangxi Grain Cadre Training Class, Guangxi Grain Cadre School, Guangxi Grain School, Guangxi Trade and Economics School (identified as a national key secondary school in 1994). Another school foundation of the college is the Guangxi Litang Grain Technical School, Guangxi Grain Technical School, and Guangxi Economic and Trade Technical School established in 1978 (identified as a provincial and ministerial key technical school in 1988). In June 2004, the Guangxi Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Trade was established on the basis of the Guangxi Economic and Trade Technical School merged into the Guangxi Trade and Economic School.
