Yulin Teachers College is located in Yulin, the hometown of the famous linguist Wang Li, an excellent tourist city in China, and a thousand-year-old city in southeast Guangxi. It covers an area of 1,746 acres and is a full-time general undergraduate university directly under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

　　 School was founded in 1945, formerly known as Guangxi Provincial Lilin Normal School. In the spring of 1952, it was renamed Yulin Normal School. In 1958, it was upgraded to Guangxi Yulin Prefecture Teachers College, and it began to recruit higher-level college students. In 1962, it was renamed Yulin Prefecture Normal School. In 1978, the State Council approved the restoration of Yulin Teachers College. In 1994, it was renamed Yulin Teachers College. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Yulin Teachers College, Yulin Education College, Yulin Higher Vocational and Technical College, and Guangxi Radio and Television University Yulin Branch were merged and upgraded to Yulin Teachers College.
