Heyuan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher education school sponsored by the Heyuan Municipal People's Government, located in Jiangdong New District, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. The school is backed by Wutong Mountain, faces the Dongjiang River, and is close to the Donghuan Road, with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. The school was upgraded and established in 2001 from the original Guangdong Laolong Normal School. In 2004, it was relocated to the urban area of Heyuan to run the school. At the end of 2007, it passed the evaluation of the level of talent training in higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education.
