Zhanjiang Institute of Science and Technology (formerly Cunjin College of Guangdong Ocean University) is a full-time general undergraduate college located in Zhanjiang, a beautiful port city in the southernmost part of mainland China. The school was founded in 1999 by Guangdong Ocean University and Zhanjiang Cunjin Education Group. In 2006, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent college. In 2021, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent private undergraduate college.


The school is divided into Mazhang campus and Xinhu campus to run schools at the same time. The campus covers an area of about 2000 acres. The buildings on the Mazhang campus are dominated by bright orange, and the modern buildings are scattered. The buildings on the Xinhu campus are a combination of Chinese and Western, magnificent and beautiful.

Relying on the high-quality educational resources of Guangdong Ocean University and the abundant overseas resources of Zhanjiang Cunjin Education Group, the school offers 42 undergraduate majors, involving 6 disciplines of economics, literature, engineering, agriculture, management, and art.
