Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1959. It was formed by the merger of Guangdong Communications School and Guangdong Shipping School with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 1999. It is a comprehensive higher education department headed by the Provincial Department of Education, with distinctive industry characteristics and engineering subjects. Vocational schools have a history of running schools for more than 50 years.
