Guangzhou City Institute of Technology (formerly Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology) is a multi-disciplinary applied university approved by the Ministry of Education, which focuses on engineering and coordinated the development of economics, management, literature, science, and art. It was founded in 2006 by Guangzhou Yunfeng Enterprise and South China University of Technology. In 2021, the school was approved by the Ministry of Education to be converted to Guangzhou City Institute of Technology, which is an independent undergraduate level private general higher education school. The school is the Guangdong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Demonstration School, the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Pilot School, and the first IACBE international business accredited university in China.


School conditions


The school is located in Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with convenient transportation and superior geographical location. Based on the construction of technological innovation and industrialization platform, the school attaches importance to applied research and achievement transformation. It has successively established the Engineering Research Institute and the Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College, established a scientific research innovation platform and a platform for achievement transformation and industrial technology service, and has achieved a large number of high-quality scientific research results.
