Lingnan Normal University (formerly Zhanjiang Normal University) is an ordinary undergraduate college in Guangdong Province with a century of teacher education history. It is located in Zhanjiang City, the southernmost beautiful port city in mainland China. The predecessor of the school was Leiyang Middle School. Teachers were established in 1904. Guangdong Provincial Leizhou Normal School was established in 1935.
