Lingnan Normal University (formerly Zhanjiang Normal University) is an ordinary undergraduate college in Guangdong Province with a century of teacher education history. It is located in Zhanjiang City, the southernmost beautiful port city in mainland China. The predecessor of the school was Leiyang Middle School. Teachers were established in 1904. Guangdong Provincial Leizhou Normal School was established in 1935. It was renamed Leizhou Teachers College in 1978, upgraded and renamed Zhanjiang Normal College in 1991, and renamed Lingnan Normal College in 2014.


The school has a good reputation.
