Pingliang Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational education school approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. Its context originates from Liuhu Academy and has a history of 100 years. In 2016, it began to recruit college-level students from the whole province.
The college is located in Dongcheng District, Pingliang City. The campus covers an area of 500 acres, and another experimental area is 100 acres. The total building area of the school is 210,000 square meters and the total investment is 1 billion yuan.
The college has seven departments including education, medicine, management engineering, construction engineering, economic management, mechanical and electrical engineering, and biochemical engineering, and three departments including ideological and political, physical education, and art; it also has a sports school, an affiliated technical secondary school, and an affiliated hospital And the two entities of Architectural Engineering Design and Research Institute.
