Sanming Medical Technology Vocational College

Sanming Medical Technology Vocational College (Sanming Vocational and Technical College) is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college. It was formally established in May 2005 and renamed in September 2016.

　　 1. School conditions. The campus covers an area of 421 acres, with a school building area of 153,000 square meters; the total value of fixed assets is 262 million yuan, the total value of teaching equipment is 42.96 million yuan; the library has a collection of 386,600 books. 44 on-campus practical training bases and 140 off-campus practical training bases have been established. Among them: 3 training bases supported by the central government, 5 training bases supported by provincial finance, and 1 public training base at the provincial level (Sanming).

　　 2. Professional construction. It has established 31 enrollment majors in 5 professional groups, including medical nursing, textile dyeing and finishing, finance and commerce, machinery and electronics, and preschool education, with 5,810 full-time students. It has three national control majors: clinical medicine, preschool education, and early education, and seven provincial demonstration majors: nursing, modern textile technology, dyeing and finishing technology, clothing design, accounting, logistics management, and machinery manufacturing and automation. In the first professional quality assessment of higher vocational colleges in Fujian Province, 5 majors were ranked first in the province, and 12 majors ranked in the top ten. In 2017, our school's logistics management (express delivery direction) major was awarded the national demonstration major.

　　 Three, the teaching staff. There are 318 faculty members, including 91 teachers with senior professional titles or above, 103 with master's degree or above, and 136 teachers with "dual teacher quality". There are 170 off-campus part-time teachers and 69 first-line clinical part-time teachers in affiliated hospitals. There are 4 provincial and municipal-level teaching teachers, 35 professional leaders, 1 provincial-level teaching team, and 5 quality courses.

　　 Fourth, the quality of teaching. The school implements a "dual certificate system" for graduation certificates and qualification certificates. The rate of obtaining dual certificates for graduates is more than 90%, and the employment rate is more than 98%. In particular, the passing rate of nursing and midwifery qualification examinations continues to maintain more than 99%. Students participated in the skill competition and won 11 national awards and 94 provincial awards. Among them, projects such as corporate sand table simulation management, e-commerce, and dyeing sample work have won first prizes in national competitions. Supported the establishment of 11 college students' innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and won 2 second prizes and 2 third prizes of the Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.

　　 5. Social services. Undertake 150 provincial and municipal scientific research projects, 43 horizontal R&D projects, 26 school-enterprise cooperative development textbooks, and 25 patents. It is the first to establish Sanming Lianchuang Tourism Hotel Management Multi-investment Vocational Education Group, establish school-enterprise partnership with more than 100 industries, enterprises (units) such as the Provincial Textile Industry Association and Hong Kong Scarlett Group, and has a National Vocational Skills Appraisal Center. Especially as a training base for police officers in the prison system of Fujian Province, it has carried out more than 2,300 trainings on clothing and footwear production technology and management business, which is well received.

　　 Six, campus environment. Our school is located in the urban area of Sanming, with the Qilinshan City Park in the front and the Xianrengu National Forest Park in the back. The urban greenway bypasses the school. The campus is built on the mountain, with lush forests and fresh air. It has always been a good place for teaching and educating people. It is a provincial civilized school, a provincial garden unit, and an excellent school for the "Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award".
