The predecessor of the college was Quanzhou Optoelectronic Information College, which was founded in 1998. [Hardware construction for running a school] The college has an experimental teaching building of 26,000 square meters, existing engineering optics, MPTS modular production training system, CAD/CAM, Proe, CNC machining, analog circuits, digital circuits, sensing technology, high-frequency circuits , Communication principle, EDA, SCM, PLC, ERP and other 48 experimental (training) rooms. Among them, the ERP training center and the MPTS modular production training system are at the advanced level in China, and the total value of teaching and research equipment is 25.23 million yuan.
The college has a factory building of more than 11,000 square meters, with three on-campus production practice (training) bases including an optical cold processing factory, a mold factory, and an electronics factory.
