The Logistics Engineering College of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is an advanced engineering and technical college of the military. Founded in 1961, it was designated as a national key institution of higher learning in 1979 and one of the key construction institutions of the military. In 1999, he was the first to be awarded the title of "Excellent Teaching Unit" in the whole army. In 2006, the college became a key construction college for the overall conditions of the Army’s "Project 2110".
College was founded in 1961 and is located in the beautiful mountain city of Chongqing. It covers an area of more than 1,300 acres, with a building area of more than 400,000 square meters, the library has a collection of more than 700,000 books, a campus network and an electronic reading room. There are 3 post-doctoral research mobile stations in civil engineering, chemical engineering and technology, oil and gas engineering, 4 doctoral authorization points in geotechnical engineering, applied chemistry, oil and gas storage and transportation engineering, rear professional services, and 5 in civil engineering. There are 19 second-level disciplines, applied chemistry and other master's degree authorization points. There are 22 undergraduate and specialist majors or majors in architecture, environmental engineering, civil engineering, and oil storage and transportation engineering. The college has 1 national key discipline, 5 provincial and municipal key disciplines, 4 disciplines and professional fields that have entered the military "2110" project, 8 experimental centers, 1 military key construction laboratory, and advanced equipment for teaching and scientific research. The college has 8 professional scientific research institutes, 1 National Class A Architectural Engineering Design and Research Institute, 1 National Engineering Testing Center, and 1 National Class A Geological Disaster Prevention Engineering Technology Research Center. The college is a national-level environmental impact assessment unit for construction projects, a second-class unit for pollution control special design, a first-class unit for water conservation plan design, and a first-class unit for Chongqing pollution control project. The college has a strong faculty, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 252 full and associate professors, 15 doctoral tutors, and 107 master tutors. 52 people enjoy special government allowances, and 3 are selected as young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions from the country, and 1 Selected into the national "Hundred, Thousand, Thousand, Thousand Talents Project", 2 people were awarded the Major Contribution Award for Professional Technology by the Central Military Commission, 3 people were regarded as the "Generation Masters" of the General Logistics Department, 4 people were awarded the "Bo Le Award", and 12 people entered the "Samsung Project" ".
In the past 40 years, the college has trained and transported nearly 40,000 professional and technical personnel of various logistics, and has achieved more than 1,500 scientific research achievements, of which more than 400 have won the national, military, provincial and municipal scientific and technological progress awards.
In recent years, the college has vigorously implemented and promoted quality education and innovation education. Students have participated in the national college student mechanics, mathematical modeling, electronic design and other competitions, and have achieved good results, ranking among the top universities and military academies in the country. In 1998, the college passed the evaluation of excellent undergraduate teaching in military engineering academies. In 2000, it passed the inspection and acceptance of the military's "triple" (key academies, key disciplines, and key laboratories) with excellent results.
