Chongqing Vocational College of Safety Technology

Chongqing Vocational College of Industry and Commerce is a public full-time general higher education institution established by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and approved by the Ministry of Education. It recruits students from all over the country. The school was identified by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as a high-level professional group construction unit of the "High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan with Chinese Characteristics", and was selected as the "First Batch of National Vocational Education Teacher Teaching Innovation Team" by the Ministry of Education. In recent years, the school's connotation construction has been continuously deepened, the development environment has been continuously improved, and the school-running characteristics have become more prominent. It ranked 10th in the "National College Teacher Teaching Competition Analysis Report (2012-2019)" and ranked among higher vocational colleges in the western region Ranked 1st, 3rd among national backbone higher vocational colleges and 8th among national "high-level" higher vocational colleges.


The school has two campuses, Hechuan and Jiulongpo Huayan, covering a total area of more than 1,300 acres. There are 888 faculty members, of which 56 are professors and other senior professional titles, as well as associate professors, senior engineers, senior experimenters, etc. There are 183 associate senior titles, and 552 hold doctorate and master's degrees. The school has 8 secondary colleges, including the School of Management, the School of Accounting and Finance, the School of Media and Design, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Automobile, the School of Urban Construction Engineering, the School of Electronic Information Engineering, the School of Open Education, and the School of Innovation Education. 45 enrollment majors including management, accounting, environmental art design, industrial robot technology, construction engineering technology, cloud computing technology and application. At present, there are nearly 16,000 full-time general higher vocational (junior college) students in the school.
