Chongqing City University of Science and Technology is a full-time private general undergraduate college. The school was founded in 2005. Its predecessor was Chongqing University City College of Science and Technology. In December 2020, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transferred to Chongqing City University of Science and Technology.
The school has two campuses, Yongchuan and Banan (under construction), which are located at the foot of the Chashan Bamboo Sea in the famous scenic area of Yongchuan and the Higher Vocational City of Banan District. There are currently more than 27,000 students. The school has 7 secondary colleges and ideological and political theory departments, including the School of Construction Management, the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Architecture, the School of Electrical Information, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Art, and the School of Humanities.
