The Armored Forces Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was formerly known as the Bengbu Tank Academy. In 1982, it moved to Bengbu City, Anhui Province. In September 1986, it was renamed the Bengbu Tank Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It is an academy that trains junior command officers for the armored forces of the entire army. She is located at the foot of Yanshan Mountain in Bengbu City, Anhui Province, on the shore of the Huai River.
The college has a total of 3 training levels, including 4-year undergraduate courses, 3-year college courses, and 2-year technical secondary courses. The college has a computer-controlled teaching command center, teaching laboratory building, audio-visual teaching building, simulation building and library, which provide conditions for supporting teaching. The teaching and living facilities of the college are reasonable. 26 laboratories can complete more than 60 experiments in physics, chemistry, electronics, mechanics, and computer courses. The large-scale training ground provides an ideal place for the annual training of trainees and comprehensive tactical exercises for graduation. The library has more than 100,000 books.
