Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Press and Publication is a public full-time general higher vocational technical college approved by the Anhui Provincial People’s Government. The college has 43 centers for industrial design, commercial photography, film and television post-production, financial chain simulation, stop motion animation, cross-media creative design, intelligent manufacturing, mechatronics, virtual studio, digital audio, advertising planning and production, and business etiquette competence centers. The professional experimental training room has more than 3,500 instruments (sets) with a total value of nearly 140 million yuan. The college has 255,000 paper books and 2.913 million e-books.
Over the years, the college has been adhering to the school motto of "Being virtuous, erudite and diligent", insisting on connotative development, characteristic school establishment, industry-based, market-oriented development of integration of production, education and research, through learning and borrowing from Germany’s "dual system."
