Anqing Medical College

The school is located in Anqing City, which is "an ancient land of Anhui, this place is a city", on the bank of the Yangtze River, at the foot of Dalong Mountain. It covers an area of 630 acres (420,000 square meters), with a construction area of 160,000 square meters and teaching equipment worth more than 80 million yuan. In March 2007, the school was independently upgraded on the basis of the original Anqing Health School. It is the only medical higher education institution in southwest Anhui Province. The school’s history can be traced back to the "Anhui Provincial Lihuang Vocational School for Senior Midwifery Nurses" established in 1943.

There are 665 faculty and medical staff. There are 107 associate professors and other associate professors or above (including 9 professors with full professional title <1 second-level professor>), 2 doctors, 128 masters, and 1 special allowance from the State Council.

Open clinical medicine, rehabilitation treatment technology, medical inspection technology, medical imaging technology, traditional Chinese medicine, public health management, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology, pharmacy, Chinese pharmacy, biopharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical preparation technology, pharmaceutical production technology, pharmaceutical quality and safety, pharmaceuticals There are 18 general specialties in operation and management, food nutrition and testing, health care product development and management, nursing, and midwifery, with more than 8,000 students in school. There are clinical medicine department, pharmacy department, nursing department, basic medicine department, public basic department, Marxist college and other teaching departments. Hospital, Navy Anqing Hospital, Nanjing Gulou Hospital Group Anqing Petrochemical Hospital, Shenzhen Dapeng New District Nan'ao Hospital), and nearly 200 off-campus internship training bases.

The school continues to promote open school, expand international exchanges, inter-school exchanges, and school-enterprise (academic) cooperation. It has established friendly cooperative relations with foreign universities such as Gaya University in South Korea, Chuvash University in Russia, Lancashire University in the United Kingdom, and St. Clair College in Canada. Cooperate in the areas of student visits and study abroad, teachers' mutual visits for further training, the promotion of Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine culture, and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. The school hired Professor Yao Zhibin, the former vice chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Medical Association, as the honorary director of the school development advisory committee. Professor He Xiaoshun, Vice President of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University, was hired as the honorary president.

The school is the "National Civilized Unit" for three consecutive terms, the "Model Worker's Home" of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the vice chairman unit of the Rehabilitation Medicine Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association, the executive director unit of the National Higher Vocational Education Association of Health, and the National Medicine and Health Service A member unit of the Vocational Education Alliance, a provincial continuing education base for pharmacy professionals, and a municipal "Red Cross Rescue Training Base".
