Ma'anshan Teachers College was founded in 1958, formerly known as Ma'anshan Teachers College. In May 2004, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be independently upgraded to a public general normal college. In 2011, it passed the evaluation of talent training in higher vocational colleges with an excellent rank.
