Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Industrial Economics (hereinafter referred to as the college) is a full-time public institution of higher learning, jointly established by the Anhui Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development (now known as the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration). The Anhui Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration is mainly responsible for leadership and management, and the business is under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Education. The predecessor of the college was Anhui Geological Workers University established in 1983. It was renamed Anhui Industrial Economic Workers University in January 1997. It was approved by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education in June 2001. It was restructured on the basis of the original Anhui Industrial Economic Workers University. It is Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Industrial Economics.
The main campus of the college is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. There are three campuses in the East District (No. 1 Liangyuan Road, Hefei City), West District (No. 410 Tongcheng South Road, Hefei City), and Bantang Campus (No. 2 Huayuan Street, Bantang Town, Chaohu City). There are more than 10,000 full-time vocational students, covering an area of 531.39 mu. There are 8 on-campus comprehensive training centers, including geological survey, computer, numerical control electromechanical, tourist hotel management, economic management, and Haier University’s electrical and electronic training center, with a total of 113 experimental training rooms and 121 off-campus training bases. It has a national vocational education training base, a national first batch of demonstration vocational qualifications and skills appraisal institutes, 7 provincial demonstration training centers and open training bases, and IT core and certification course institutes.
The college now has 8 secondary colleges (School of Tourism Management, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, School of Computer and Art, School of Business, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Finance and Economics, School of Geology and Architecture Engineering, School of Jewelry), 1 (Basic Teaching Department), 1 center (internship training center), as well as teaching and auxiliary scientific research institutions such as libraries, continuing education colleges, international education cooperation and exchange centers, and Anhui Geothermal Energy Exploration and Research Institute. There are now 57 higher vocational majors, involving 5 university subjects of engineering, economics, management, culture, and art, covering resource development and surveying and mapping, civil engineering, manufacturing, electronic information, finance, security, public utilities, cultural education, art design media, Top 10 professional categories of tourism. A number of key majors at or above the provincial level have been established, including 2 majors in the national shortage of talent training, 2 majors supported by the central government for construction, 22 majors at the provincial level, demonstrations, characteristics, comprehensive pilot reforms, and 31 majors at the provincial level and above. The college currently has a team of 580 high-quality full-time and part-time teachers, of which 182 have senior titles or above, and 272 are dual-qualified teachers. Among the full-time teachers, 180 have a master's degree or above, accounting for 37%. Chang Yinfo, a dual academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is a part-time professor of the academy, forming a high-level "dual-qualified" faculty team with a combination of full-time and part-time and a reasonable structure.

The annual average employment rate of graduates is above 95%, and the satisfaction rate of employers’ evaluation of graduates is above 90%. The college actively carries out multi-level and wide-area foreign education exchanges and cooperation. It currently maintains long-term and close exchanges and cooperation with many colleges and universities in South Korea, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Singapore, Thailand and other countries. The Dublin Business School of Ireland and the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom have cooperated to carry out international education projects in the form of "3+2" and "2+1". With more than 80 enterprises and institutions, such as China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Anhui Provincial Geological Survey Institute, we have built majors and cultivated talents together.
Xiongguan Mandao is really like iron, and now it's stepping forward from the beginning.
