Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Transportation is a public full-time college with transportation majors, provincial model vocational colleges, and national backbone vocational colleges. It is affiliated to the Department of Transportation of Anhui Province.
College was formed by the merger of the former Anhui University Transportation Branch School and Anhui Jiaotong School in June 2001, and it was co-administered with Anhui Transportation Cadre School. Anhui University Transportation Branch was established in 1988 with the approval of the Ministry of Education; Anhui Jiaotong School was founded in 1956 and was upgraded to Anhui Jiaotong College in 1958; Anhui Transportation Cadre School was established in 1988.
