Chaohu College is a full-time general undergraduate college in Anhui Province. The school was founded in 1977 and its predecessor was Chaohu Teachers College. In April 2002, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Chaohu College. In June 2013, the school successfully passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education.
