Huainan Teachers College

Huainan Normal University is a full-time general undergraduate college affiliated to Anhui Province. Its predecessor was Huainan Teachers College. It was founded in 1958, closed in 1962, and resumed in March 1978. In 1999, Huainan Teachers College, Huainan Education College (formed in 1978), and Huainan Normal School (formed in 1952) merged to form a new Huainan Teachers College. In 2000, the Ministry of Education approved Huainan Teachers College to be upgraded to an undergraduate level Huainan Teachers College.

In 2007, the school successfully passed the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching level organized by the Ministry of Education. In 2009, it was the first to be identified as a provincial-level construction unit for postgraduate training among new undergraduate universities in Anhui Province. In 2018, it accepted the review and evaluation of the undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education.
